San ANTONIO, TEXAS.-U.S. President DONALD TRUMP announced on Tuesday that his country has “completely” surrounded Venezuela by sea and assured that he will not withdraw from there.
(El Presidente de EE.UU., DONALD TRUMP, anunció este martes, que su país ha rodeado “completamente” a Venezuela ,por vía marítima y aseguró que no se retirará de allí.}
Until the South American country returns assets that, according to him, it had “stolen” from Washington. Although he did not offer any evidence to support the latter claim.

“Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest Navy ever assembled in the history of South America. This will only grow, and the shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before, until they return to the U.S. all the oil, land, and other assets they previously stole from us,” the president wrote on Truth Social.

Similarly, TRUMP lashed out at the Venezuelan government. He branded it an “illegitimate regime” and accused it, without evidence, of using “oil from […] stolen fields to finance narco-terrorism, human trafficking, murder, and kidnapping,” on the basis of which he issued a ban aimed at preventing any ship from transporting Venezuelan crude oil.

At the same time, he affirmed that the White House “will not allow criminals, terrorists or other countries to steal, threaten or harm” his country. For his part, Defense Minister VLADIMIR PADRINO LOPEZ confirmed last Friday that his country will not renounce the defense of its sovereignty under any circumstances.
