San ANTONIO, TEXAS.- “We are getting closer” to an agreement on peace in Ukraine. However, there are still “thorny issues” regarding the future status of Donbas.This was stated by U.S. President DONALD TRUMP, after meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, VOLODIMIR ZELENSKI, on Sunday at his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida to advance the peace plan.

After a two-hour meeting, in which both spoke electronically with other European leaders.TRUMP said that the outcome of the talks between Russia and Ukraine will be known in “a few weeks” and has assured that Moscow will contribute to the reconstruction of the invaded country.

While ZELENSKI has celebrated the positive of the meeting and has advanced that the parties agreed to meet “in the coming weeks” to ”finalize the aspects discussed.” But he did not give details of where or when exactly that meeting would take place.
