San Diego, CALIFORNIA.- The U.S. Supreme Court ruled against one of the key economic initiatives of the DONALD TRUMP administration, overturning part of the tariffs imposed by the U.S. president.

At a press conference, the president described the decision as “deeply disappointing” and assured that he has other tools at his disposal. According to AXIOS, the president’s economic agenda “fell to the ground.” And in some cases, so did his geopolitical agenda. TRUMP no longer has the “on/off switch” that was at the heart of many of the economic threats he resorted to.

The New York Times reported that tariffs were a central element of his program. And that TRUMP used them as a kind of reserve fund, to finance a series of political promises.
