San Antonio,TEXAS.- Culiacan, Mexico, which before last Thursday, October 17 was a place of a thriving development. It became a global focus, because of the violent actions of organized crime, who for several hours had control of everything, in the City.
The News ran like wildfire.They fought to death between federal forces and armed members of the Sinaloa Cartel. For the dispute, some for stopping EL CHAPO’s son. Others for releasing him. In the end they release to OVIDIO GUZMAN LOPEZ.
“… On Thursday’s Afternoon 17th the Sinaloa Cartel showed its power in the capital of Sinaloa because defeated to the federal government with a display of commandos at different points in the city.”
“…Which took and blocked vials and huts; soldiers and their families were abducted and shot at facilities of the Ministry of National Defense. Armed civilians faced a diminished National Guard and the Army to demand the release of Ovidio Guzman Lopez.”
“…Who were intended to be arrested in a three-river Urban Development home. The cartel’s strategy paid off and Joaquin Guzman Loera’s son El Chapo was released.” Says one of ROXANA VIVANCO’s chronicles of the newspaper “RIO DOCE” in Culiacán, Sinaloa.
For this fact, the PAN is suing the President. And in response: “…President Lopez Obrador agreed to appear, if the authority requires it, to respond to the complaint filed by the PAN, and explain why Ovidio Guzman Lopez, son of Joaquin El Chapo Guzman, was released.”
“…In defending again the decision of the Security cabinet, to suspend the capture of the kingpin, due to the violent response of organized crime last Thursday in Culiacán, the President, said that the success of his strategy is “a process that takes time but that Thursday showed that “there is real change.”
“…And we’re going to base on why it’s acted this way and I’m willing to appear because it was disclosed that the PAN leaders filed a complaint against me, who with their strategy turned the country into a cemetery.”
“If the authority asks, to go and publicize, to set out my reasons for, why not to violence, I do so. In all cases you have to punish suspected criminals, you have to stop, but the most important thing is to take care of people’s lives,” he said at his press conference at the National Palace.
The Attorney General of the Republic, Alejandro Gertz Manero, said : “… That an investigation is being conducted into the release of the son of Joaquin Guzman Loera alias El Chapo in Culiacan, Sinaloa, and results will be obtained, which will not lead to impunity.”
“…To be clear, he insisted: This will not be another Ayotzinapa. Here the responsibilities are to be established with all precision, in accordance with the law, with all transparency.”
“…Of course, the prosecutor abounded, this investigation “is not a thing that is done overnight. It is not an easy matter, it is a very complicated subject, but it is an issue that we in the Public Prosecutor’s Office fully assumes and we will conduct an investigation that is exemplary.”
Gertz Manero was questioned as to whether President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador will be summoned to testify in the investigation.
The owner of FGR said: “In the case of the President, it is obviously not the task of the Federal Executive to act like that carried out in Culiacan. There are institutions, there are individuals, there are officials and public servants who have those tasks. Involving the President of the Republic, I think, in my personal opinion, is absolutely unacceptable.”
While the polemic continues over whether the President’s action to release El Chapo’s son was correct. EDGARDO BUSCAGLIA experienced internationalist in Crime, maintains that release the son from EL CHAPO is acted responsibly, because a massacre was avoided.
