San ANTONIO, TEXAS.- One of the domestic problems that have plagued the U.S. for decades is the violence. It greatly damages the social fabric. The popular outcry is that any plan of the politicians, they should to put an end to this situation, in the facts, to live in social peace.
Now, the violence appears in California. On the brutal attack on her husband- in which she was the target- House Speaker NANCY PELOSI told her congressional colleagues that, she and her family were “shattered and traumatized” by Friday’s events.
“Our children, our grandchildren, and I are heartbroken, and traumatized, by the life-threatening attack on our POP,” PELOSI said in a statement, addressed to members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
“We are grateful for the quick response of law enforcement and emergency services, and for the life saving medical care that is saving his life.”
Early Friday, an intruder broke into NANCY PELOSI’s hillside home in San Francisco’s upscale Pacific Heights neighborhood.
Authorities said DAVID DEPAPE, 42, attacked PAUL PELOSI, 82, with a hammer. After yelling “Where’s Nancy?” several times. Police arrived on the scene after being alerted by a call from PAUL PELOSI, who managed to call before being attacked.
NANCY PELOSI was in Washington at the time, but has already returned to California to be with her husband, according to the press. The Speaker of the House of Representatives briefly referred to the attacker in her statement.
“Yesterday morning, a violent man burst into our family home, demanded to confront me, and brutally attacked my husband, PAUL,” PELOSI said. She also thanked those who expressed concern and sympathy.
For some Democrats, the attack against NANCY PELOSI is quite suspicious. There are only a few days left before the midterm elections on November 8. What are they looking for to create conditions contrary to the American Democracy?. It’s the question.
Historically, The North American public opinion has always enjoyed being truthfully informed by the media. The New York Times is an example of that enduring U.S. tradition, according to the experts.
Recently, The New York Times released this information: Failure of sanctions against Russia leads to “Western frustration.” It is not surprising to an important sector of the American people, what was reported by the newspaper, that are used to the truth, as state the analysts.
Despite the sanctions imposed by the West, the value of Russia’s exports grew since February 24 of this year. Far from achieving the goal of ”punishing” the Russian economy, the result “has led to a frustrating reality for Western officials,” acknowledges the U.S. newspaper.
“Attempts by Western nations to use sanctions, and other measures to cripple the Russian economy have had limited effect”, in a scenario whose data show “how deeply integrated Russia in the global economy. Allowing it to raise huge sums of money” nine months into the special operation in Ukraine.
So admits an article in The New York Times that warns of a “reshaping of global trade flows” as Russia’s ties with Europe loosen and new alliances are formed as goods are redirected to other countries.
Sanctions on Russian energy supplying Western economies “have been slower to take effect”, and the high price of gas and oil this year inflated the value of exports.
The Russian gas company Gazprom had record profits in the first half of the year, even if exports to Europe began to fall, the authors of the note acknowledge.
