“From the governor’s word, there is no risk, there is no threat from either the Ministry of Education or the General Secretariat of the Government, much less from me.”
“AMERICO VILLARREAL also asked teachers to resume classes. “What I want to ask of you, for the representation of parents, but above all girls and boys in their right to education, is that we can return to the classrooms, that we can have classes.”
“However, the teachers responded that they want LUCIA AIME CASTILLO PASTOR, out of the Secretary of Education of Tamaulipas. He said that they will be attentive to the Union’s willingness to dialogue, and the offices are open, in order to resume classes.”
The opinions above are teachers who work in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. They have seen the greatest weakness -political- of the SNTE’s leader, ARNULFO RODRIGUEZ TREVIÑO.
The UNIVERSE News and EL UNIVERSO pose the following question: What are the political consequences of the clique that has kidnapped the SNTE in Tamaulipas, headed by the great disciple of ELBA ESTHER GORDILLO, the controversial ARNULFO RODRIGUEZ?.
Teachers from H. Matamoros -speak out- about what is happening in the education workers’ union, under anonymity,. They do not can hide their fear at the reprisals, and possible attacks, by the pseudo-leaders of the SNTE. (…) They explain:
“…In a rather irreverent, even arrogant tone, ARNULFO, with the microphone in his hand and facing the Governor, asked Mr. AMERICO not to be bothered by what he was saying. This caused a great mockery among the SNTE leader’s followers”.
“There was no shortage of someone saying: The only step that follows is for the leader of the SNTE RODRIGUEZ TREVIÑO to give Governor AMERICO donkey ears, and leave him without recess, as is done in primary schools.”
“Without any regard, and without any consideration. Both (ARNULFO RODRIGUEZ and ULISES RUIZ) enjoyed those moments when they made Governor AMERICO VILLARREAL ANAYA look like a political apprentice, who got into the SNTE’s lion’s den”.
“Among the interested followers of ARNULFO, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, they spread the union’s political future of the leader of the SNTE, for 2024. Although they do not recognize the disastrous conduct of the teachers’ strike that the infernal couple promoted.”
“Not even in last September 2023. Not even now, in the month of January 2024, could ARNULFO and ULISES make LUCIA AIME CASTILLO PASTOR, head of SET, resign. On the contrary, LUCIA remains solid in her position as her official.”
“The most shameful thing for the SNTE’s infernal couple was that they never gave an explanation, as to why they renounced to dismiss LUCIA to the teachers’ base. To this day, both continue to hide what happened to their ambivalent, and dubious conduct.”
“Ignoring the majority of the Teachers of Tamaulipas, ARNULFO and ULISES – they assure – that the first will be a senator and the second a deputy. Despite the fact that today, the teachers knew of their malicious intentions to use the SNTE, for their whims.”
“ It remains to be seen if the national leader of the SNTE, ALFONSO CEPEDA SALAS, has already given the green light for the infernal couple (ARNULFO and ULISES) to obtain these elected positions. And if the statutes of the SNTE allow them to do so.”
