San Antonio, TEXAS.-Millions of Mexicans still remember the violent-gangster irruption of the military and police forces against the Mexican Embassy in Quito, Ecuador, on April 5, 2024, ordered by the Ecuadorian President, DANIEL NOBOA.
{Todavía -recuerdan- millones de Mexicanos, la irrupción violenta-gansteril de las fuerzas militares y policiales en contra de la Embajada de México, en Quito, Ecuador. El Pasado 5 de Abril de 2024, ordenada por el Presidente Ecuatoriano, DANIEL NOBOA.}
The purpose was to capture the former vice-president of Ecuador, JORGE GLAS, who had been convicted of corruption and had been a refugee in the Mexican embassy, since December 2023.
{El fin era capturar al exvicepresidente de Ecuador, JORGE GLAS, quien había sido condenado por casos de corrupción y se encontraba refugiado en la embajada Mexicana, desde diciembre de 2023.
Fact that NOVOA with this event, broke all the norms of International Law. And it is considered a violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and the 1954 Convention on Diplomatic Asylum.

ANDRES MANUEL LOPEZ OBRADOR, then President of Mexico, reacted immediately. Calling it a “flagrant violation of international law and sovereignty”. The Government resorted to the International Court of Justice, to denounce such evident violations.

VENEZUELA, NICARAGUA and other countries condemned the violation promoted by the President of Ecuador DANIEL NOVOA. They also ordered to close the embassies in Ecuador, as consulates. And they joined the international repudiation shown by other countries against DANIEL NOBOA.

On Ecuador’s presidential election on April 13, 2025. The electoral observation mission of the Organization of American States (OAS) in Ecuador issued a report pointing out irregularities in the electoral process, in the victory of DANIEL NOBOA.

The report highlights the misuse of public resources and the -lack of neutrality- of the National Electoral Council (CNE) during the presidential campaign and at the end of the ‘count’, where there were numerous complaints against NOBOA.

In Ecuador, LUISA GONZALEZ, presidential candidate of Revolución Ciudadana (RC), a 47 year old lawyer by profession, had hoped to change the course of the country, where NOBOA has plunged it into a spiral of violence. But, according to her critics, there are -darknesses- of fraud in the election.

LUISA GONZALEZ expands denunciation of electoral fraud in Ecuador. Affirming, in her networks: I do not say it, the same report of the @OEA_oficial says it, irregularities during the entire electoral process and we will present evidence of the manipulation of the minutes.

One of the recurring comments from International Observers was: “We saw the borders closed, the country completely militarized, changes of voting centers quite arbitrarily within hours of the election and the Ecuadorian diaspora in Venezuela, the largest one, could not vote due to the disposition of the Electoral Justice and the Executive”.

RAFAEL CORREA, former President of Ecuador questioned: Has anyone ever known that the ballot is perfectly symmetrical and that the ink is “transferred” when the vote is folded? This is INAUDIBLE and would explain why Luisa even decreased votes in some cities and provinces.

The National Electoral Council of Ecuador declared the winner of the runoff election to the current president Daniel Noboa. But the legitimacy of the voting process was questioned by several leaders in the region, such as Colombian President GUSTAVO PETRO, and President of Mexico, CLAUDIA SHEINBAUM.
{El Consejo Nacional Electoral de Ecuador dio por ganador del balotaje al actual presidente Daniel Noboa. Pero la legitimidad del proceso de votación fue cuestionada por varios líderes de la región, como el mandatario colombiano Gustavo Petro y la Presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum.}
The President of Mexico, CLAUDIA SHEINBAUM described Noboa’s victory as “dubious” in a press conference, and reiterated that Mexico will not resume relations with Ecuador, as long as Noboa is the head of state of the South American country.

Likewise, the Colombian President Gustavo Petro assured in his X account to have received “delicate information” of the presidential elections in Ecuador, for which he considers that the Government of Noboa “must deliver the minutes of each table to be verified”.
