San Antonio, TEXAS.- Eight Arab and Islamic countries call for a transition of power in Gaza. After President Donald Trump presented the Middle East Peace Plan, which was released by the White House.

The foreign ministers emphasize that this development “represents a real opportunity to achieve a complete and lasting ceasefire, which will prevent further problems.

They add that this would improve the “critical humanitarian conditions” for the inhabitants of Gaza. They demand the creation of a mechanism for the total withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza. They call for the unification of Gaza and the West Bank and for “a just peace based on the principle of two states.”

On Wednesday, the Global Sumud Fleet denounced a dangerous attack by Israeli naval forces, which included direct threats and hostile maneuvers against ships carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, which has been under prolonged siege.

According to a statement released by the fleet, the Ship Alma was pursued for several minutes by an Israeli warship, which remotely disabled its internal communication systems.

The UK government announced that police will have greater authority to restrict protests. This follows a wave of mass demonstrations in support of Palestine across the country.

British Home Secretary SHABANA MAHMOOD stated that the police will now be able to assess the cumulative impact of repeated protests when deciding, whether to impose restrictions.
