SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS.- From the birth of the Republican Party (March 20,1854) up to arrive President DONALD TRUMP (January 20th, 2021). In What way has it contributed to the comprehensive progress of the U.S. that would allow it to be the true leader of the World?.
What is the sincere, real and not deceitful contribution of the Republican Party to the American people. In today’s troubled times, where a pandemic like the coronavirus paralyzes government, business and society as a whole?.
States such as Washington, North Dakota, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Texas, California and others are asking themselves these questions. Without being able to find answers in the facts.
It is not news that worldwide political scientists view with suspicion the poor contribution of the Republican Party to American People, known as the Grand Old Party (GOP), to the American people and the damage it has done to America’s world leadership.
But let’s look at recent things. Republican senator and “friend” of Trump warns that the former president could “destroy” his party. The Republican senator’s statements are relevant due to the times the U.S. is going through, conforming with analysts.
Senator Lindsey Graham said in an interview that former President Donald Trump, whom he considers a friend, has a “dark side,” but added that he is trying to “tap into the magic” because the former president succeeded where other Republican candidates did not.
The South Carolina Republican tried to strike a balance between supporting and criticizing the former president after Trump lashed out harshly at John McCain – Graham’s longtime friend – and incited the violent attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6.
“What I’m trying to do is tap into the magic,” Graham said in an interview with Axios’ on HBO, Jonathan Swan. “He can make (the Republican Party) bigger. He can make it stronger. He can make it more diverse. And he could also destroy it,” Graham said.
Graham won re-election in November in one of the most expensive election contests in U.S. history. This could be one of the reasons he supports Trump, who has a strong following among the Republican voter base. However, Senator Graham is unable to coherently explain why he defends the former president.
“I could throw [Trump] out tomorrow why don’t I,” Graham asked himself. Swan told him that was precisely what he didn’t understand. “Well, you don’t understand me very much,” the senator replied.
“That’s why I’m asking you,” Swan added. When he faced Donald Trump in the 2016 Republican primary, Graham questioned Trump’s mental aptitude. However, when the former president defeated Hillary Clinton, Graham made his support of the then-president clear.”
On the day Trump supporters attacked the Capitol, Graham blamed the former president for his inflammatory speech and bluntly said “enough is enough.” Now Graham is back to his ambivalent comments on Trump’s side.
“Donald Trump was my friend before the riot. And I’m trying to maintain a relationship with him after the riot. I still consider him a friend. What happened was a dark day in American history, and we’re going to move forward,” the South Carolina senator said regarding the assault in which five people (including a Capitol Police officer) were killed.
In Moment that for U.S. the Data reported to WHO in the last 24 hours. Latest update: 10 March 2021, 07:44 am GMT-6 are:124 208, New cases, 28 825 174 Confirmed cases, 522 469 Deaths.
The Republican governors of Texas, Greg Abbott, and Mississippi, Tate Reeves, to revoke the order to wear masks in those territories. For them it is not enough the damage done by TRUMP with the lousy handling of the pandemic as ANTHONY FAUCI, medical expert, says.
U.S. President JOSEPH R. BIDEN Jr. called the decision by Texas and Mississippi to lift state orders to wear masks to protect against COVID-19 a “big mistake” and said the last thing the country needs is this “Neanderthal thinking.”
What is your conclusion regarding the GOP and its contribution to the US.? After DONALD TRUMP’s consummate damage to the national economy, employment, migration, but above all in the leadership that the U.S. had and that the past tenant of the White House threw overboard, the critics of TRUMP ask.
