San Antonio, TEXAS.- In the midst of more than 650 deaths caused by the COVID-19, the rebellion of three Governors, and the cracked MORENA Party, President OBRADOR makes a defense in his own way, in favor of the -corrupt- President ENRIQUE PEÑA NIETO and his family.
A Few Days ago, after a newspaper in the Mexico, City (EL UNIVERSAL) and a Spanish-language television channel in the U.S. (UNIVISION) broadcast that there is an inquiry by the Financial Intelligence Unit against former President PEÑA NIETO, and family.
The Media has reported that there was an open inquiry by the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Ministry of Finance. The FIU was running a trace on the ex-mandate’s accounts.
At His morning press conference, LOPEZ OBRADOR said it is possible that there are complaints before the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), which is autonomous, but he ruled out that his administration has failed them.
Mr. LOPEZ OBRADOR even launched a call for that citizens request a consultation to find out whether former presidents, from CARLOS SALINAS to PEÑA NIETO, should be judged. He recalled that at the beginning of his administration proposed an “end point” policy.
What will the 30 million voters think, who decided on the triumph of OBRADOR to become president? When today they see him with a diffuse and ambivalent language, when it comes to judging the ex-presidents. Surrealistic Story?. Believe or not.
Cases of Corruption in Mexico should be classified as organized crime, and those found to be responsible should be treated the same as other criminals, such as Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán or Los Zetas, said EDGARDO BUSCAGLIA, in many forums.
Normally in all countries with minimal rule of law, such as Kenya, Nigeria, Bolivia and Indonesia, when a president’s right hand is involved in a corruption case, the president is also subject to investigation, says the Columbia University researcher. And He comments as follows:
“…President López Obrador has repeatedly stated that he does not anticipate bringing his predecessors to trial, as he prefers to focus on the present rather than seeking revenge for the past.”
“…Mr. Buscaglia explains that this is not about revenge, but about applying the law. Since when he became president, he promised to obey the Constitution and the laws in force.”
“…He has no legal option, President ANDRES MANUEL LOPEZ OBRADOR would be violating the law. If He does not bring an accusation. If He does not denounce before a prosecutor’s office, supposedly autonomous, that presidents committed crimes.”
“…Because, He admitted it himself and described it at his press conference. There is an inherent contradiction that the political is not going to be forgiven historically, it has nothing to do with revenge.”
In the Philosophy of Law, it is stated that the late justice is equivalent to justice denied. What is serious for the population is the duration of the processes. There are jurisdictions, where the average time of trials exceeds five years.
Late Justice, at heart, is not justice, it is justice denied. After a trial lasting ten or fifteen years, when the sentence comes, the person is without any interest in the outcome of a trial, which consumed a large part of his life.
How long would it take, for Mexico’s former presidents to be tried?. Or will the cases of the former presidents of Mexico swell the monstrous record of Impunity?. One Vast of People asks, in the neighboring country.
In 1982, at the time of the faint-hearted President MIGUEL DE LA MADRID HURTADO, the Pact of Impunity, between leaders of the PRI-PAN, and the Opposition Parties were spoken out loud, so that no one of the politicians would be tried in Mexican courts.
With VICENTE FOX, FELIPE CALDERON and ENRIQUE PEÑA NIETO, the Pact of Impunity was practically made indestructible, the powerful politicians were untouchable. They all protected themselves with the same blanket.
Today, the signs envelop in a rather nebulous attitude of the President OBRADOR. When someone questions the impunity of the former Presidents of Mexico. Then they question: Is Within The Pact of Impunity President OBRADOR?.
Do Not Forget ‘Friends’ Readers of The UNIVERSE: “…Do The Unexpected, And You Will -Never Have Problems- With Your Plans, Advise The Wises of The World.”… See You Soon on… EL UNIVERSO. How long would it take for Mexico’s former presidents to be tried?
