San ANTONIO, TEXAS.-The European Commission is taking a tougher stance against the Israeli government. It is proposing sanctions against extremist ministers and intends to partially suspend the bilateral trade agreement.

The President of the European Commission, URSULA VON DER LEYEN, announced on Wednesday a proposal to impose sanctions on extremist ministers in the Israeli government, as part of a series of measures in response to the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza.
