SAN ANTONIO,TEXAS.-Considering the governing style of Presidents DONALD TRUMP and JOSEPH R. BIDEN Jr., there are marked differences in the way they govern. In light of the facts, it is easy to understand that they are very different, in the opinion of political scientists.
In the view of their voters and supporters, they are likely to regard U.S. President JOSEPH R. BIDEN Jr. and his predecessor, DONALD TRUMP, as polar opposites.
If you take into account the large number of policies of the real estate tycoon, in relation to the new president that he has tried to reverse through executive decisions in the first two weeks of his administration. That seems to be the case.
On Tuesday, BIDEN re-signed a series of orders aimed at reversing his predecessor’s heavy-handed immigration policy. Openly and publicly showing their disagreement with TRUMP.
During his first week in the White House alone, BIDEN signed 21 executive orders, more than the sum of those issued in the same period by the previous four U.S. presidents, from BILL CLINTON in 1994 to TRUMP in 2016, according to official records.
Nothing else is in sight. BIDEN’s goal the fundamental part of these decisions is to reverse policies implemented by DONALD TRUMP.From near and far it is more than clear that TRUMP’s policies are completely discarded.
‘Facts’ are plain to see. BIDEN has already ordered the United States to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement, and the World Health Organization, stopped the construction of the border wall with Mexico.
Ended the veto that prevented the arrival of travelers from a group of mostly Muslim countries and reopened the doors for the entry of transgender people into the Armed Forces, among other things.
However, there are other controversial policies of the previous administration, that have survived despite the new president’s onslaught against the legacy of his predecessor, DONALD TRUMP, as per the serious analysts. And they explain it.
1.- TRUMP’s foreign policy includes the so-called Abraham Accords, through which – thanks to U.S. sponsorship – Israel normalized its relations with the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan.”
2.- One policy with which Donald Trump marked a key difference with his predecessors in the White House over the past 40 years was the adoption of a policy of open confrontation with China.
3.- After his arrival at the White House, the new president has maintained that position to the point that his new plan to stimulate the economy contemplates a check for $1,400 dollars for each American, which will serve to complete that amount set by Trump in December of $2,000.
4.- Migration agreements with Mexico and Central America?.The new president accuses Trump of having acted to the detriment of the American tradition of welcoming persecuted people from different parts of the world, imposing numerous limitations on their entry and stay in the country.
5.- Venezuela, Guaido and Maduro. BIDEN has also called for other countries recognize Guaido as the legitimate leader of the country and advocates for the release of political prisoners and new elections in Venezuela. These and other issues will be addressed by the new President.
Within these difficult issues, JOSEPH R. BIDEN Jr. will show that he is totally different from his White House predecessor?. That is the looming unknown, not much clarity.
