San ANTONIO, TEXAS.- The Russian Delegation for negotiations with Ukraine arrived in Istanbul, the Kremlin Press reported. The meeting is expected to start at 16:00 (GMT)and  will be held at the Cıragan Palace.

{La delegación rusa para las negociaciones con Ucrania llegó a Estambul, informó  la Prensa del Kremlin. Se espera que la reunión comience a las 16:00 horas (GMT), se celebrará en el Palacio Cıragan.}

Earlier, the Kremlin confirmed that Russian presidential adviser VLADIMIR MEDINSKY  is leading the Russian delegation in negotiations with Kiev, to make progress on positive results.

{Anteriormente, desde el Kremlin confirmaron que el asesor presidencial ruso, Vladímir Medinski,encabeza la delegación rusa en las negociaciones con Kiev.}

Russian President VLADIMIR PUTIN  has repeatedly expressed his hopes that, the Ukrainian settlement process will take a peaceful course as soon as possible.

{El presidente ruso, Vladímir Putin, expresó en repetidas ocasiones sus aspiraciones de que el proceso del arreglo ucraniano tome un curso pacífico lo antes posible.}

Kremlin spokesman DMITRI PESKOV said that Russia is ready to make rapid progress in resolving the Ukrainian conflict, although for Moscow the main thing is to achieve its goals and protect its interests.

{El portavoz del Kremlin, Dmitri Peskov, afirmó que Rusia está dispuesta a avanzar rápidamente en la resolución del conflicto ucraniano, aunque para Moscú lo fundamental es alcanzar sus objetivos y proteger sus intereses.}

The spokesman stressed that “there is no reason to expect miraculous breakthroughs.” At the same time, he stressed that the issue of the Ukrainian conflict is so complex that reaching agreements on exchanges or the delivery of the bodies “already constitutes a certain yield.”

{El vocero subrayó que “no hay motivos para esperar avances milagrosos”. Al mismo tiempo, destacó que la cuestión del conflicto ucraniano es tan compleja que lograr acuerdos sobre intercambios o la entrega de los cuerpos “ya constituye un cierto rendimiento”.}

The third round of direct negotiations between Moscow and Kiev began in Istanbul, with well-founded hopes to find a solution to the Ukrainian conflict.

The composition of the Russian delegation remains the same and, in addition to 4 experts, includes: VLADIMIR MEDINSKY, Russian presidential adviser and head of the delegation; MIKHAIL GALUZIN, deputy minister of Foreign Affairs; IGOR KOSTIUKOV, head of the General Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces; ALEXANDER FOMIN, deputy minister of Defense.

{La composición de la delegación rusa sigue siendo la misma y, además de 4 expertos, incluye a: VLADÍMIR MEDINSKI , asesor presidencial ruso y jefe de la delegación; MIJAIL GALUZIN, viceministro de Asuntos Exteriores; ÍGOR KOSTIUKOV, jefe de la Dirección General del Estado Mayor de las Fuerzas Armadas; ALEXANDR FOMÍN, viceministro de Defensa.}

As for the Ukrainian delegation, it will be headed by RUSTEM UMEROV, as in the previous composition. Although he now holds the position of secretary of the Security Council and not of Minister of Defense.

The head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir MEDINSKY, shared the results of the meeting with the Ukrainian side with the press. MEDINSKI said that all the humanitarian agreements of the second round of bilateral talks were fulfilled. It was also suggested to consider short truces of 24 to 48 hours to evacuate wounded and deceased military personnel.Russia offered to Kiev the additional delivery of 3,000 Ukrainian military bodies.
