San Antonio, TEXAS.- SERGUEI LAVROV, Russia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, highlighted the key points of Moscow’s position on Thursday. He reaffirmed his country’s commitment to finding a reliable and secure solution to the Ukrainian conflict.
{SERGUÉI LAVROV, ministro de Asuntos Exteriores de Rusia,subrayó este jueves los puntos clave de la postura de Moscú. En la resolución del conflicto ucraniano y reafirmó el compromiso de su país para encontrar una solución fiable y segura.}
The Russian Federation’s position has been the same as always with regard to the war against Ukraine. In this concern, Moscow has always been in favor of “honest dialogue.”
{La Posición de la Federación Rusa ha sido la misma de siempre respecto a la Guerra en contra de Ucrania. En este problema: Moscú siempre ha estado a favor de “un diálogo honesto”.}
He recalled that “the security principles and guarantees that were agreed […] on the initiative of the Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul in April 2022” were supported by Moscow because they were “truly based on the principle of collective security and the principles of the indivisibility of security.”
{Él recordó que “los principios y las garantías de seguridad que se acordaron […] por iniciativa de la delegación ucraniana en Estambul en abril del 2022” fueron respaldados por Moscú, por basarse “realmente en el principio de la seguridad colectiva y en los principios de la indivisibilidad de la seguridad”.}
However, he mentioned that the plans currently being discussed in Europe with the Kiev regime are essentially “related to the granting of guarantees, through foreign military intervention, in some part of Ukrainian territory.”
{No obstante, mencionó que los planes que se están debatiendo actualmente en Europa con el régimen de Kiev, en esencia, “están relacionados con la concesión de garantías, mediante la intervención militar extranjera, en alguna parte del territorio ucraniano”.}
In this regard, he stressed that this situation is highly questionable in practice. “And this would be totally unacceptable to Russia and to all sensible political forces in Europe.”
{Al respecto, remarcó que dicha situación tienes visos muy dudosos en la practica.” Y esto sería totalmente inaceptable para Rusia y para todas las fuerzas políticas sensatas de Europa”.}
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also indicates that the Kiev regime is demonstrating that it is not interested in a “sustainable and lasting” peace agreement with Moscow in their conflict.
{El Ministro de Relaciones exteriores también indica: que el régimen de Kiev demuestra que no está interesado en un acuerdo de paz “sostenible y duradero” en su conflicto, con Moscú.}
The Russian minister pointed out that representatives of VOLODIMIR ZELENSKI’s administration only talk about the need for new sanctions against Russia and breaking its economy.
{El ministro Ruso señaló que los representantes de la administración de Volodimir Zelenski solo hablan de la necesidad de nuevas sanciones contra Rusia y de quebrar su economía.}
Furthermore, he maintains that the Kiev regime adopts positions associated with “neo-Nazi” ideologies, seriously violates “the rights of national minorities,” promotes the legal eradication of the Russian language in public life, and restricts the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
{Además, sostiene que el régimen de Kiev adopta posturas asociadas con ideologías “neonazis”, vulnera de manera grave “los derechos de las minorías nacionales”, impulsa la erradicación legal del idioma ruso en la vida pública y restringe a la Iglesia Ortodoxa Ucraniana canónica.}
On the other hand, with his calls to meet with Russian President VLADIMIR PUTIN, ZELENSKI would be replacing “the serious and difficult work of agreeing on the principles for a sustainable resolution to the crisis” with humor—tricks from his past.
{Por otro lado, con sus llamamientos para reunirse con el presidente ruso VLADÍMIR PUTIN, ZELENSKI reemplazaría “la seria y difícil labor de acordar los principios para una solución sostenible a la crisis” con trucos humorísticos de su pasado.}
LAVROV stated that ZELENSKI fears that attention toward him will diminish, asserting that this is already happening. Throughout Ukraine, people are seeing the mistakes of the illegitimate president.
{Lavrov manifestó que Zelenski teme que la atención hacia él disminuya, aseverando que eso ya está ocurriendo. En todo el territorio de Ucrania, que está viendo los errores del Presidente ilegitimo.}
The Russian Foreign Minister recalled that President VLADIMIR PUTIN has repeatedly said that he is willing to meet with the leader of the Kiev regime. He is ready.
{El canciller de la Federación Rusa recordó que el Presidente Vladímir Putin ha dicho en reiteradas ocasiones que está en condiciones de reunirse con el líder del régimen de Kiev. El está dispuesto.}
Along these lines, he stressed the need for future agreements to “resolve the issue of the legitimacy of the person, who will sign these agreements on behalf of Ukraine.”
{En esa línea, subrayó la necesidad de que cuando se trate de firmar futuros pactos, “se resuelva la cuestión de la legitimidad de la persona que firmará estos acuerdos en nombre de Ucrania”.}
The meeting between Russian President VLADIMIR PUTIN and the leader of the Kiev regime, VOLODIMIR ZELENSKI, could take place if all the necessary conditions are in place, said Russian Foreign Minister SERGUEI LAVROV.
{El Encuentro entre el presidente de Rusia, VLADÍMIR PUTIN y el líder del régimen de Kiev, VOLODIMIR ZELENSKI, podría celebrarse si se preparan todas las condiciones necesarias para ello, declaró el ministro de Asuntos Exteriores de Rusia, SERGUÉI LAVROV.}
“Our president VLADIMIR PUTIN has repeatedly stated that he is willing to meet with Zelensky as well, provided that there is an understanding on all issues.”
“Nuestro presidente Vladímir Putin ha señalado en repetidas ocasiones que está dispuesto a reunirse también con Zelenski, siempre que exista el entendimiento de que todas las cuestiones”.
“And those that require examination at the highest level will be well prepared, and the experts and ministers will have prepared the corresponding recommendations,” said the foreign minister.
{“Y que requieren examen al más alto nivel estarán bien trabajadas y que los expertos y ministros habrán preparado las recomendaciones correspondientes”, afirmó el canciller.}
He also stressed that Moscow must be clear on how the question of the legitimacy of the person who will sign any agreement on behalf of Ukraine, will be resolved.
{Asimismo, subrayó que Moscú debe tener claro cómo se resolverá la cuestión de la legitimidad de la persona, que firmará un eventual acuerdo en nombre de Ucrania.}
When the time comes to sign commitments. In this context, Lavrov recalled Zelensky’s decree, in which he stated that it was impossible to enter into negotiations with PUTIN.
