San Antonio, TEXAS.- The ‘Barbarity’ of Organized Crime for decades has savagely run over women. And protected by impunity, the deaths of women are on the rise in Mexico. Currently, according to some statistics: “Ten(10) women die every day, on Aztec Country”.
Since the time of MIGUEL DE LA MADRID (1982), CARLOS SALINAS, ERNESTO ZEDILLO, VICENTE FOX, FELIPE CALDERON and ENRIQUE PEÑA NIETO (2018) organized crime has been setting the rules of the Mexican State. Being the women the easy targets of organized crime.
Mexican Poet AMADO NERVO (1870-1919) known in Europe, Spain and Latin America for his great literature. Who left a huge mark as a writer. He has a deep admiration for the beauty of women. And a great respect for them.
NERVO, the Writer of Mexico -paraphrase- of the wisdom of Persia, in a proverb, saying: “…Don’t hurt a woman, nor with the petal of a rose. But I say to you, don’t hurt her with your thoughts.” That in Mexico is a Utopia.
As The Fiction of the ‘Mexican State’ appeared, from 1982 to date. It is not capable of protecting the lives of Mexicans. Nor of the properties, in front of the organized crime. In this situation women bear the brunt, conform with the Political Analysts.
Like a snowball being thrown from a mountain top. This is how the movement “El Nueve Ninguna se Mueve” (The Nine Nothing Moves) grew, promoted by different women’s collectives in Mexico to obtain justice and to stop gender violence.
“…I fight for today, so I won’t die tomorrow.” One of the slogans that showed the ‘March of March 8’, on the International Women’s Day, in the capital of the country (Mexico). March 9 will be National Strike: “The Nine None Moves”.
With the cry of “Justice, justice, justice!” thousands of women arrived at the Zócalo of Mexico City to congregate in front of the main door of the National Palace, where they held a rally to make their demands public.
In a massive march, at 3:30 p.m. the rear contingents were still in proximity of the Monument to The Revolution, with posters and slogans. Young people, mothers and grandmothers joined together to denounce once again that in Mexico “for being a woman they kill you.
The Secretary of Citizen Security reported that there are 80,000 women in all the contingents, with the Vanguard enters the Zocalo, while the rear guard is still at the Monument to the Revolution.
Some people accompanied by family and friends began to repudiate the acts of vandalism that were generated against the offices of the ISSSTE and hotels that are on the route of the march, and shouted: ¡ No to violence!.
Women in wheelchairs take part in the feminist march. Participants include inhabitants of Mexico City, from the interior of the country, foreigners, and visitors, with demands such as an end to violence against women, a stop to harassment, violent attacks, and justice for murder.
Streets of Mexico City are painted purple. “No one brought us, the violence brought us. Stop the violence against women”, was heard in the Alameda Central of Mexico City, in the “feminist chain” that was called up.
The women’s collectives of “Juntas y Organizadas”, blamed the federal government for the lack of action against gender violence, the lack of a comprehensive strategy and the budget cuts to eradicate .
For political analysts not aligned with President LOPEZ OBRADOR, the vision of the feminicide, wherever it is seen: “…OBRADOR and his government have a direct responsibility to address, in deeds, not in rhetoric, the crimes of women.”
“…It cannot be admitted, that there are more deaths of women and hundreds of thousands of missing persons. In Mexico, it is a serious matter whose solution cannot be postponed. And there should be a response now, in fact, to the level of seriousness of the feminicide.”
